Volkswagen's 2007 Changes
June 27, 2006

Among several 2007 changes is a lower, more sporty ride height for the performance Jetta GLI and GTI models. Pictured, the '06 GLI's height makes even big 18-inch wheels look average, with a significant gap under the fenders.
With its 2007 changes, Volkswagen continues to show it cares what North American consumers want — not to mention what we here at VolksWatch want.
Key changes will happen to the enthusiast Jetta GLI and GTI — such as a lower ride height, new launch control and standard tire-pressure monitoring. VolksWatch has criticized these cars for their lofty height.
The non-GLI Jetta will get a lower base price, the Touareg three new engines, and other general changes include convenience items like a new iPod adapter and simplified cruise control.
All changes to 2007 VWs, which arrive at dealerships in the next few months, are below.
