Tiguan Drives Online March 20, 2007  Volkswagen has launched a dedicated website at www.Volkswagen.de/Tiguan — featuring high-quality animations, real driving scenes and exclusive downloads. The website can be accessed in almost 50 countries in the local language via the country's main VW website. A special section called Tiguan Base follows the Tiguan from concept car to production vehicle. Over the next eight months, more and more information and photos will be added to the site, and in June the production vehicle will be revealed exclusively to Tiguan Base users in advance of the official world premiere at September's Frankfurt auto show. Website users can also be updated via E-mail, and information can be downloaded onto a cell phone. Users in each participating country can be entered into a draw to win an exclusive trip to the Tiguan's world premiere in Frankfurt. The Tiguan is slated to go on sale beginning December 2007 in some countries — however, North American sales aren't expected to start until late spring of '08.
