This is how many voted the Volkswagen Tiguan as Europe's best SUV. Initially, 40-million readers of 26 European issues of Auto Bild voted for their respective national winners and favorites in six categories. Then the top three in each category were put through their paces on a testing ground by race drivers, technicians and auto journalists. The Tiguan is the winner in the SUV category and gets the coveted Auto 1 trophy (pictured). The Tiguan hit the European market last fall and will arrive in North America by summer.
