Sales Slowing For Eos Nov. 5, 2006 American customers brought 724 Eos convertibles home in the month of October, down from 894 in September but up from 454 in August when the nifty car first hit the market. Year-to-date Eos sales were 2,072. With the cold months now here, the Eos likely won't see better sales until spring. Sales of most VW models showed decreases for October, bringing the brand down 7.4 percent over October 2005. North of the border, Volkswagen Canada sold a healthy 18.2-percent more cars in October 2006 than the year-ago month. Year-to-date sales were 9.8-percent above last year's pace.
