2006 SEMA: Wrap-Up Nov. 2, 2006 
 Two phenomenal SEMA models: the Thunder Bunny Rabbit and R GTI As Rabbit and GTI owners tweak their cars as money and time allow, Volkswagen has provided some fresh inspiration in the form of the Thunder Bunny and R GTI.
Sources say the Thunder Bunny has the best chance of becoming a VW-offered package and the automaker will show it around the United States to gauge reaction. Volkswagen has no plan to build the R GTI but says enthusiasts could build their own using products from aftermarket companies, as well as from over the parts counter at VW dealerships.
