May 3, 2006 The supervisory board of Volkswagen AG has given Bernd Pischetsrieder a big vote of confidence. At its meeting yesterday, the board unanimously decided to extend the CEO and chairman of the board of management's contract until April 16, 2012. Pischetsrieder is pictured at right at VW's annual general meeting today.
