Eos Prices Announced

Volkswagen today announced prices for its new Eos hard-top convertible, which arrives in North American showrooms late this summer.

In the United States, the base price is $27,990 for the 2.0-liter, 200-horsepower four-cylinder model. This includes an incredible list of standard features such as 16-inch alloy wheels, foglights and comprehensive safety aids.

The price increases to $31,065 when equipped with an automatic DSG transmission, leather accents, dual-zone auto climate control, 12-way power driver seat, heated seats, trip computer and more.

A version of VW's venerable VR6, a 3.2-liter with 250 horsepower, is available for $36,850 and includes 17-inch alloys, wood trim, rain-sensing wipers and more.

Options are a 10-speaker Dynaudio sound system, steerable bi-xenon headlights, navigation system, park distance control and 18-inch alloy wheels. Add these items to the Eos VR6 for a top price around $41,600.

In Canada, Eos pricing starts at $36,900 CDN.
